Educator HIV Health
A new grant funded community health opportunity for a HIV Health Educator is now available in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Educator HIV Health must have their HIV Testing Certification to be considered for this position.
The HIV Health Educator will administer HIV rapid testing and will provide HIV and risk education health education. The Health Educator will also provide referral information to patients and families, conduct routine follow ups, and will collaborate with other HIV and PrEP providers throughout the county.
The HIV Community Health Educator will work for a financially stable, independent nonprofit organization that also receives grant funding. This position is currently grant funded until 2023, This organization is also undergoing an exciting new merger that will expand their services by adding multiple clinics throughout the Bay Area.
The HIV Health Educator will utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to document patient data and will maintain and update patient records. The Health Educator will have a strong knowledge of HIV Prevention, PrEP, and PEP.
